I watch the light. I choose to receive it along with the information it provides, the emotion it evokes, and the inspiration it reveals. It is a window to the Universe, a key to insight and wisdom. And without it, we wouldn't be here, nor would our passion for photography. I love the process of combining photography with traditional media such as encaustic wax painting, as well as fashioning image transfers to wood and metal. My style varies with the seasons, whether I’m using digital cameras or anticipating the unexpected with alternative specialty film cameras. I shoot panoramas both on film panoramic cameras and digitally. I am in awe of the universe, creating starscapes, light painting, and timelapse late at night, showing the universe spinning overhead.
